Believe IT. Believe in yourself, your vision. In your dream. Above all, believe. Welcome to another #WomanOfTheMonth feature post this month covering Jamie Kern Lima. Jamie was a morning news anchor who started testing makeup to help cover up her own rosacea. Resolving her problem and the problems that other women might experience became her dream and vision. She then turned her dream into IT Cosmetics. Even with rejection after rejection, humiliation after humiliation, she did not give up. Her company was almost on the point of folding and completely running out of cash when her first appearance in QVC happened. Her products sold out on the show. The rest is history, as they say. Jamie sold IT Cosmetics (the full 300 products catalogue) to L'Oreal for $1.2 billion in cash in 2016. She stayed on as CEO of IT Cosmetics. And so she became the first female CEO in L'Oreal's history. I have heard her speak twice, both times as a guest speaker at two separate Tony Robbins' events. She is warm, genuine and totally inspiring. I am incredibly passionate about helping other women to break through barriers limiting their personal and professional fulfilment. Jamie is definitely an inspiration to me. I'm sure you'll like her too.
