ThePeopleAlchemist Edit: #SmashYourCeiling, change starts from within - Business & Lifestyle Experimentation for #TheWomanAlchemist - Your inner critic

Hello again and welcome back. Yesterday I talked about creating an authentic to you routine, habits that speak to you, to the type of person you want to become, that work with and enhance your current lifestyle whilst learning something and working toward your better self. But even though I talked about enhancing who you are and working on your strengths, you might still encounter resistance. You are changing after all.

YOUR INNER CRITIC

With changes normally comes resistance to change. Fear not because, when your Inner Critic starts talking, know it is fear. Pure and simple fear. Your Inner Critic is there to protect you from being hurt, from disappointment. Remember, our brain doesn't know we have moved on from caves hunting wild beasts. It is still trying to protect you. So when it starts talking, listen to what it is trying to tell, what it is trying to protect you from, and acknowledge it. The tell it to shut up and get on with it. If you'd like, you can even give your Inner Critic a name, talk to it/her/him/them ( whatever pronoun you prefer). Again, there is nothing to fear. You are working toward your Best Self. And that is a good change; it is progress and a never-ending project. See you tomorrow x #BeYourBestSelf #Habits #Authentic #Followme on Twitter and Instagram
