Being Your Best Self = being mentally healthy. To note is that being mentally healthy is not just not having mental health problems. Mental health ("emotional health" or "well-being") is just as important as good physical health.

I wish that people could understand that the brain is the most important organ in your body. Just because you can't see it like you could see a broken bone doesn't mean it's not as detrimental and devastating to a family or an individual" - Demi Lovato

Positive mental health or "well-being" allows people to realize their full potential and cope with the stresses of life. In other words, being your Best Self. It also helps to work productively.

"Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of each day that says 'I will try again tomorrow' " - Mary Anne Radmacher

Some ways to cultivate positive mental health include, firstly, seeking professional help if you need it. Secondly, connecting with others and also helping others, aka focusing on something external to the self. Then, of course, staying positive, being physically active and good night sleep. And every day is a new day; whatever happened today, you can try again tomorrow. See you tomorrow x Change starts from within; that's why training your consciousness should be your Priority Numero 1 - a daily practice to silence your inner critic.
