I talk a lot about working on the mind because that's where it all starts from. The body, however, is important too, as we can't really go anywhere without it. Struggling with self-image is very common among women (the bitchy twin sister strikes again). The relationship with how we look fluctuates depending on how we feel about ourselves, in a never-ending struggle. And beauty biases are all linked with our emotions about self-esteem, self-image, and how we think about ourselves (back to the mind - the mind-body connection). You know what? It's time to change this today! Instead of fixing everything we think is wrong, let's focus on feeling content with ourselves to start with. And then proceed with self-acceptance and self-care, the twins in the journey of self-love. Caring for ourself is crucial. Like taking care of our possessions, doing the laundry, cleaning up the room, we should also remember to care for body, skin and everything else in between. Maybe during this Covid time when the new normal consists of lots of time inside, we can form new habits to make us feel more responsible and wholesome and sticking with them. So today, instead of apologising for our body, we need to start apologising to it. Write a letter and say sorry for all the stupid things we put it through. It stops here. Enough is enough.

“Nourishing yourself in a way that helps you blossom in the direction you want to go is attainable,

and you are worth the effort.” - Deborah Day

See you tomorrow x Change starts from within, that's why training your consciousness should be your Priority Numero 1 - a daily practice to silence your inner critic.
