It is Day 3 of talking about money toward your Financially Independent (and Fabulous) Best Self. Today we are talking about savings and what they represent, subconsciously. What is the significance of savings, then?
Having savings, or not, represents different things to different people and may generate a different kind of very harsh talk by your inner critic. Living paycheck to paycheck and not having money in a savings account can be really hard. It is linked to the so-called middle-class paradigm of earning to get by and pay off debt!. We all an arbitrary setpoint programming that says “it’s impossible to save,” and it is important to understand what that set point actually is and then clear it so as not to continue on the same path. Again, remember: money is power. And being comfortable around it/talking about it/asking for it and wanting to earn (a lot) of money and not feeling either guilty or ashamed of it is a big stepping stone. Silence your inner critic and step in into your Financial Independent (and Fabulous) Best Self - talk about money!!! Here are, again, some useful resources to work on your mind, read, digest and then take action:- Tapping Into Wealth by Margaret M. Lynch - EFT to clear your inner blocks
- Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert T. Kiyosaki - to build awareness
- Money: Master The Game by Tony Robbins - to build your financial future.
