We are sons of light and today, is Good Friday, a day when Christians remember and honour Jesus's sacrifice on the cross through ceremonies and fasting. I am a Christian. But for me, though, it is so much more than just a religious event. It is a time for reflection about life and the decisions affecting it. It is time to re-evaluate my beliefs and consider whether I operate consistently with my views and values. Introspection at its best.

"You are sons of the light and sons of the day.

We do not belong to the night or to the darkness" - 1 Thessalonians 5:5

And then I re-assess my position to stand in light and being the best human being I can be. I know it is not just something to do only once a year, but it is a start. We should always re-evaluate whether we are living in line with our principles and are on track on our chosen path. Change starts from within ... Always. Daily. No escape. We need to be the change we wish to see in others. See you tomorrow x Change starts from within; that's why training your consciousness should be your Priority Numero 1 - a daily practice to silence your inner critic.
