Commitment is the key to achieving self-improvement, and self-discipline equals self-love. But we are not talking here about self-discipline as punishment. Firstly we are talking instead of the pure definition of self-love. And having behaviour towards yourself that is loving. Secondly, loving yourself enough to keep your promises to yourself. Thirdly valuing yourself enough to delay instant gratification for longer-term benefit. And most importantly, longer-term self-respect. Which is being true to your higher self. However every day, we choose things that are not in our best interest. Go figure ...

Self-discipline

So we talked about how diets do not work. Above all, continuous self-loathing is not conducive to self-acceptance. Or a positive self-image. Self-discipline is about choosing the food and activities in your own best interest—every day. Similarly walking away from the ones who aren't. Every day. It is never too late to start. Watch this video with Will Smith for some inspiration. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ft_DXwgUXB0&list=LL&index=67&t=436s Self-discipline equals self-love. This leads to self-respect and self-acceptance, the key and doorway to authentic power and your Best Self. PS: May is National Teen Self Esteem Month, and it’s a great opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of ensuring our teens are self-aware and feel confident about themselves. Think about the example you are giving. Monkey sees monkey do. See you tomorrow x Change starts from within; that’s why training your consciousness should be your Priority Numero 1 – a daily practice to silence your inner critic.
