Hello again. The ongoing running negative commentary and the overthinking that block you from taking action and living your best life deserves some more attention today.

STOP THE COMMENTARY IN YOUR HEAD

Yesterday we talked about stopping the running commentary in your head, telling you you are not worthy, not good enough, blah blah blah ... Stop it! It has got to go. It is your subconscious mind trying to protect you by any means necessary. The subconscious doesn't know we are no longer facing dangers in the jungle or caves. It is doing its job. But by protecting you, your subconscious mind is also stifling you - paralysing you from taking action and living your best life to your full potential and stressing you out. We talked about focusing on what you can control. Your thoughts. And selecting what to focus on. But this requires guess what?

REPETITION AND DISCIPLINE

That's right. Repetition and discipline. R-E-P-E-T-I-T-I-O-N. And D-I-S-C-I-P-L-I-N-E. Two of my favourite words. You need to impress your subconscious with your new thoughts so it can direct you where you want to go. Otherwise, it will continue to run with the same old same old commentary that is stopping you from achieving your dreams. And repetition and discipline will create new habits that serve you. Afterwards, you can go on autopilot. Simple, non? See you tomorrow x #BeYourBestSelf #FocusOnWhatYouCanControl #Followme on Twitter and Instagram
