Hello there, It is now the time to move to the next level toward Self-appreciation: only positive thoughts allowed. Say what? That's right, and no, it is not the same as no negative thoughts allowed. Whilst the last week 7 Day Challenge aimed at actively STOPPING negative thoughts from influencing our conscious and subconscious mind, the next seven days are going to be dedicated to purposely add only positive thoughts (and actions) to positively Self-influence and ramp up Self-appreciation. Negative thoughts (either your own or other people about you/toward you) erode your value day after day. Positive thoughts ( yours or others') build your value day after day. And after a while, they become your beliefs.

EMPTY YOUR MIND

Genuine Self-appreciation is based on an unconditional experience of your own goodness and sense of self-worth, regardless of circumstances. Meditation is a tool that can help with this by connecting with our innate worth: meditation and breathing. When you focus on your breath, you stop the chatter, the comparison. Slowly, you will start to see your thoughts from a less emotional viewpoint. Which mean your thoughts will have less control of you. And with this will come less tension and more sense of well-being. The perfect timing for meditation is in the morning after the Monkey Mind/"dump the c*** off your brain into a page" exercise. The freewriting outpours streams of consciousness and all the negativity out of your brain on a page (or more). Venting at its best, free therapy. Meditation can help in creating distance from your thoughts and release them. Why in the morning? Because it sets up your day with a positive foot. The more you practice meditation, the more you'll be able to stay in the now, in your own sense of being. And relax, not concerned about external influences or internal ones for that matter. The more you practice, the more you connect with your inner being, your higher self, which is good, confident and love. And then you can radiate your beautiful self outwards. Perfect for conquering the day. Fab, non? So today, we start the follow-up challenge, with only positive thoughts allowed Day 1. See you tomorrow for Day 2 and more ways to purposely add more positive thoughts x
