Hello my readers, ref: observing a week of national mourning. I am feeling deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, more than I thought I would. She was a shining light and constant in our life for so long. Although one we all knew it was going to happen, I still saw her lasting forever. I already imagined her beating the record of the longest monarch in the world next year. I will not be posting any new blog this week to honour her memory and be part of the various events happening in London to pay my respects. Instead, I will observe the national week of mourning until after the funeral has taken place on Monday, 19 September. There are of course, old posts already scheduled that I have not cancelled. If you want to keep up to date on the events for this week and the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II next Monday, please check The Royal Family website for the latest news. Rest in Peace, Queen Elizabeth II, with your Philip and long live the King. If you want to pay your respects in London, the State Funeral of Her Majesty The Queen will take place at Westminster Abbey on Monday, 19th September at 1100hrs BST. Prior to the State Funeral, The Queen will Lie-in-State in Westminster Hall for four days to allow the public to pay their respects ( From the Royal Family's official press release). If you want to keep up to date on the events for this week, please check The Royal Family website for the latest news. I hope you'll understand. Thank you x #RIPQueenElizabeth #LongLiveTheKing
