Well, because she says it helps whenever she is tempted to play the victim. Because defending oneself is 'pretending' we can be hurt. And forgetting that everything is FOR us. Nothing is against us. So the lesson is all about rising above perception, what surrounds us. And remember that everybody is replaying old tapes in their mind. Therefore firstly choose not to attack.
