Hello there. This week so far, we have talked about attending events as your own plus one and relishing in your freedom. I have also talked about solo travel at home (staycations) and abroard. One point I'd like to make and add in whatever you do and/or choose to be is that it ultimately takes work.

IT TAKES WORK

That's right. It takes work and commitment to be single or in a relationship. Same as full-time employment, self-employed/freelance, or owning a business. Same as everything else, for that matter. Life has its ups and downs. Moments when everything goes your way, and you are elated. And then it has moments when it definitely doesn't, and you are down in the dumps. Take the pressure off yourself: nothing is always perfect. Perfection is boring anyway. Perfection is predictable. Singlehood can be challenging, of course. Acknowledge it. Relationships can be challenging too. Either can. Enjoy your time, single or not, and understand that you will have days (or weeks or minutes ) when you feel lonely. Put some trashy soppy TV on, and enjoy! And then you'll have days when you can't stand people, you are in a mood, and you'll thank God that you do not have to justify yourself to anybody or see anybody. Enjoy those moments too. It is life. It is all ok. YOU are OK. See you tomorrow x #BeYourBestSelf #Singlehood #ItTakesWork #Followme on Twitter and Instagram
