Hello there, and welcome back! I hope you had a glorious bank holiday weekend if you are in the UK and a great weekend everywhere else. I can't believe we are already at the end of August and, sadly, the end of the summer season. Summer is definitely my favourite time of the year: warm weather, sunshine, eating al fresco, sunbathing, and concerts in the park. This summer was particularly glorious celebrating Her Majesty's record Jubilee and then, to top it all up, The England Lionesses winning the Football European Championship. Absolutely fabulous.

IT IS THE END OF THE SEASON

September is just around the corner, and with it, the usual back-to-school/work vibe. For me, it is about acknowledging the end of the season and acknowledging myself. No, I will not bore you with a shameless self-promo or blabbering about myself. However, I will encourage you to look at your season and at yourself. A chapter in your book of life and look at the story you have created. What does it say about you? Was this chapter full of things you love, people you love, and experiences you love? How was your summer? Life passes by too quickly, and sometimes unexpected, unplanned things throw us off course and into chaos. Whatever you do, never, ever, EVER put your life on hold waiting for something or someone. One day when I have the money. Or one day when I am thin. One day when I have a partner. Whatever. The road called one day leads to a town called NOWHERE. Yes, I am repeating myself, AGAIN, from last week because repetition is the mother of all skills. That's how we learn our ABCs and multiplication tables. By R-E-P-E-T-I-T-I-O-N! Until it becomes a habit. The end of a season means, however, a new beginning is right around the corner.
