Hello there and welcome back; it is now immersion time into your new concept of self, your higher new Self-image to achieve new body/health, prosperous life, fantastic career and family life and your lover. With a compelling new story under your belt and then telling your story – every day - out loud with emotion plus acting your story—little by little, you have started the process of "implementing" your new Self-image in all aspects of your life. That, plus seeing your story both using visualisation and a vision board and seeing how other people have achieved the same results you want (role models), gives you a path and reinforces the belief you can change in your subconscious mind. But it is not enough.

IMMERSION TIME

Your current concept of self, your Self-image, has been ingrained into your psyche for the last 20-30 years with continuous messages of your worth as a woman, how far you can go, what you deserve and so on. To replace all that, you now need to condition yourself to ingrain your chosen beliefs, your chosen Self-concept/image. And for this, you need immersion time. And repetition. For example, it is easier to learn a language by immersing yourself in the culture/country; the same applies to building and conditioning yourself to your new Self-image until it becomes you. What do I mean exactly here? Let's continue with the language example. Language immersion is all about learning a language outside of its spoken areas, e.g. using the language you want to learn all the time, not just in class. Reading, speaking, listening and writing. No matter where you are. You need to immerse yourself in practising your new Self-image.

4 HACKS FOR A GREAT IMMERSION TIME

1. Your own immersion mindset

If you have the right mindset, you can do anything. If you have the wrong mindset, you won't'. Simple as that. You have to WANT change and be committed to your new higher Self. Otherwise, you'll be the same as many ex-pats who have lived years outside of their home country without learning much more than “Hello” and “Thank you” in the language of their new country ( to continue with the language analogy). What is the right mindset, then? Start with a pledge to yourself - say NO MORE to your old Self and YES to your new one.

2. Let the immersion come to you

All the work that you have done needs to be internalised until it becomes second nature. And this is achieved by re-enforcement and repetition. Constant R-E-E-N-F-O-R-C-E-M-E-N-T & R-E-P-E-T-I-T-I-O-N.

3. Use technology to your advantage

Anything you might want to learn can be available to you 24/7 via a phone or tablet. And you can use this constant presence in your life to your advantage.

4. The power of association

You have already looked at role models. Now we are talking about starting to frequent circles where the people that have or do what you want for yourself go.

"You are the average of the five people you spend most time with" - Jim Rohn

I'll let you ponder on this for today, and we are going to go into each one in more detail in the next few days. See you tomorrow x

"Psycho-Cybernetics" by Maxwell Maltz. Psycho-Cybernetics is a terminology originally coined by Dr Maxwell Maltz in the 1960s, further explained in this bestselling book. Here, Maltz explains that our self-image controls our ability or inability to achieve any goal. In this book, you can find techniques for improving and managing self-image visualization, mental rehearsal and relaxation - a prescription for thinking and actions leading to quantifiable results—one of my 4 books of the month. Available on Amazon. Change starts from within; that’s why training your consciousness should be your Priority Numero 1 – a daily practice to silence your inner critic.
