Hello and Happy Friday! This week we have been talking about counting your blessings, bookending your day with positive happy thoughts and noticing who is making you happy. But you know know what? First and foremost you need to make YOURSELF happy.

HAVE A LAUGH

This can be as simple and easy as watching a comedy. Or the cheesy soap opera you like so much or going to the movies. Watch or listen to something that uplifts you, something that you really like, something that makes you laugh. Just for you. Yes, you could share these moments with others. Or you can just keep them to yourself. For yourself. Because the purpose here is to make yourself happy and laugh. Firstly, laughter releases endorphins which are good for you. Secondly, laughing has many benefits including stress relief and being able to do so, putting yourself in the mood, can be extremely beneficial to you.

Laughter therapy is a kind of cognitive-behavioral therapies that could make physical, psychological, and social relationships healthy, ultimately improving the quality of life. -

Do remember though to be respectful and kind – we can agree to disagree, no need to be nasty. Thank you.
