Hello there, after working on morning and evening habits it is time to look at developing habits for Le Weekend too. That's right. Building Self-appreciation is an everyday practice; it doesn't stop on a Friday.

HABITS FOR "LE WEEKEND"

Mondays to Fridays is when we carry out Self-appreciation exercises built within and complementary to existing routines. The weekend is more relaxed and flexible. This avoids the IDIOS fallacy. I talked about it in my "Think, Look and Act The Part" series. IDIOS is the acronym for I'll do it on Saturday, and it is a fallacy because:
  1. you won't, and
  2. if you do, you'll hate it for eating up time in your weekend.
The key here is to keep it simple. VERY. Personally, I find the time to meditate and my gratitude list no matter what. And then some freewriting (I write after all). But I'm flexible on the time. I fit it around my day rather than the other way round. Saturdays are my most sociable days (that's because the majority of people have a Monday to Friday working-life with free weekends) and Sundays my time for self-care/self-pampering and walking (you can follow m escapade on Instagram). And whilst I'm taking time for myself, I listen to motivational/inspirational audios or do my affirmations. It is all ABOUT ME, after all ;-) . Let me know what are your habits for "le weekend". See you on Monday, stay safe x
