ThePeopleAlchemist Edit: Future - Be your best self - #SmashYourCeiling, change starts from within -Business & Lifestyle Experimentation for #TheWomanAlchemist

Hello everyone. Do you remember the blog post where I told you to close your eyes and dream? This one. I asked you to write down three of your happiest memories in that post. In your list of memories, you’re very likely to have one where your friends or family surrounds you, and everyone is happy or laughing and generally having a good time. You may not remember the funny jokes or even the entire occasion, but what you will remember is the feeling you experienced. Of course, there are many perks associated with positive memories. You can read up them here. The trick is to ensure that your future self looks back at this present time with the same fondness you currently have for your past happy moments. We also discussed that when you close your eyes and dream about your future, you must consider your feelings and the people you see with you. And then, of course, the hard work begins. So how do you make that a reality? Easy. It begins with you!

It begins with you!

In my latest book, Gabrielle, (available for purchase), you’ll see that Gabrielle’s life was much the same until something shifted. I explore that change through the book but let me tell you a little something: The change that she experienced began from within! Similarly, your shift must start from somewhere to achieve that future vision. It could be by strengthening your relationships with the people you see in your future. It could be with you exploring your hobbies further and perhaps even turning that into your future career. It could even be with just you, in a healthier, happier state. For all of us, our answers are different. We all have our ceilings to smash. And, whatever your dream may be, you must begin with believing in yourself that your future can happen – if you’re willing to put in the work and effort. With all great journeys, there are risks, and sometimes our dreams evolve into the stuff of scary tales. But you can overcome these, and I will unpack this further in our next blog. For now, dream big and put your plan together. Smash your ceiling! Until next time x
