Hello there, Happy Monday and welcome back. I want to start the week by discussing my favourite topic: controlling your thoughts. And what is the bad habit we need to stop and turn into a positive one? The ongoing running negative commentary and the overthinking that block you from taking action and living your best life.

STOP THE COMMENTARY IN YOUR HEAD

The running commentary in your head, telling you you are not worthy, not good enough, you shouldn't be doing this or that, you should wait until everything is perfect before taking action, blah blah blah has got to go. Recognise it for what it is; fear. fear that is there to protect you. All this negative thinking was practical when we lived in caves and had to be careful of our surroundings; danger was in every corner, and our survival depended on our awareness of it. Now, not so much. It is paralysing you from taking action and living your best life to your full potential. And going for your big dreams. Plus, it is stressing you out.

FOCUS ON WHAT YOU CAN CONTROL

Focus instead on what you can control. Guess what? You can control what you are thinking. And select what to focus on. You have total control. Focus on what serves you. Deselect everything else. Life will be so much better after that. And more peaceful/stress-free. See you tomorrow x #BeYourBestSelf #FocusOnWhatYouCanControl #Followme on Twitter and Instagram
