Lesson 24 To A Miraculous Life: I do not perceive my own best interests. I'm learning that my brain looks at the past all the time and then apply it to the present to predict my future - bummer!!! In this lesson Grout asks to examine different situations and clearly state what we want to happen: "In the situation involving .................. I would like .............. to happen, and ................ to happen". Once you start doing this with a different scenario, we can quickly realise that we place demands that have nothing to do at all with THE situation at all - we do not perceive our best interests. But fear not, because our connection with our Inner Being is always available and we just need to call upon it, a bit like hiring a body double to act the most difficult scenes.
