Hello there and welcome back! To become the Your Best Self is important to break any shackles that might keep you stuck where you are. Of course, we should break free from both physical and mental ones, but I'd like to start with baby steps and talk about the physical ones for now.

BREAK FROM ADDITION

Yep, that's right! OK, addiction might be a strong word and not applicable to everybody but hear me out. Whatever crutch you are using to cheer yourself up and you can't do without, well it is a form of addiction. Mini, midi or maxi - you decide. The point is your mind, and only your mind should be in control of your life, your decisions/choices. If you want to know more about what addiction is, you can find an interesting article on the NHS website here, and they can offer help too. So, for example, if you drink alcohol and you noticed you are starting to 'need it' to relax, sleep, have fun, whatever perhaps it could be a good place to start. I'm not the puritan preaching police here. And neither am I saying you should go cold turkey with it. Alcohol is just an example and it is ultimately your choice. You could take a break for a period of limited time and then take it from there. 80% of people who took a prolonged time away from drinking alcohol don't even go back because they enjoyed the benefits like improved sleep and energy levels. Again, you know which one is your poison/addiction/crutch. Just try and see if it makes a difference to you. Break from addiction, whichever it is. Your body, your mind will thank you for it. See you tomorrow x #BeYourBestHumanSelf #BreakFromAddition
