Hello there, and welcome back. After debating if you should follow your heart or your head (I'm going with head - your thoughts create), I'm going to ask another poignant question: brain or beauty?

BRAIN OR BEAUTY - A RANT

Every woman I know is battling with perception. Out society tries ( and often succeeds) to box women into some category or another. Either you are beautiful and sexy or brainy and serious ( and taken seriously in business and politics). And I feel uncomfortable with that. I always refrain from posting a sexy selfie for fear of being judged and not taken seriously. This was particularly important when I was working in corporate. But still, now, I am limiting myself from celebrating the woman I am and worked so hard to become. I'm not uncomfortable. I am p****d off. Why should I? I believe in sexuality; I think is a beautiful thing. It does not mean I haven't got a brain ( lethal) or that I cannot use it or have other interests and opinions on politics, women's rights, business, or making money. I would love for women to understand their sexuality outside a patriarchal societal male lens and see it as it really is. Human beings, at their core, are sexual beings ( how do you think we got to billions of people on this planet?). It should be celebrated and not judged for both men and women. And it should not limit or preclude you from pursuing what you want in whatever field. Rant over. See you soon x #BeYourBestSelf #Followme on Twitter and Instagram or buy my books
