Hello again! Yesterday we talked about counting your blessings e.g. writing down (best) or going through mentally every single thing that you have ever had, ever achieved, every nice/good/amazing experience in your life, and all the people in your life that you can have a good time with, talk to, that love you. And perhaps keeping a "blessing jar" as a visual reminder of all the happy moments/blessings we had/have in life. Today I'm going to take this concept further with bookend your day with happiness.

BOOKEND YOUR DAY WITH HAPPINESS

What? That's right, start and end your day with happy thoughts, and positivity. Nothing more complicated than saying to yourself (for example): "Today is going to be an amazing day!" Whatever feels natural and right to you. If amazing is too much, or that is not how you speak say great or good day or f****ng brilliant, whatever works for you. Then, at night, search and find things that went well during the day, moments when you were content ( or happy), and nice gestures people did for you/to you. Positive things that happened. If you can't find any, then you are not looking hard enough. There is ALWAYS something positive happening every day. And I mean ALWAYS. No matter the circumstances. You are alive, right? Isn't that a positive thing? Exactly. And then remind yourself that tomorrow is going to be another amazing (or insert here whichever word works for you) day. Go to sleep with positivity in your mind. To start with, you'll sleep better. Then you'll wake up feeling better ( more rested) and ready for a new day. Simple, non? Nothing more complicated than this. No need for anything elaborate. See you tomorrow x #BeYourBestSelf #Happiness
