"Bicycles have no walls", said Paul Cornish. And that can be true, mentally, physically and emotionally. Yesterday we talked about building physical strength and endurance towards your Best Self, besides looking after your health treating your body with love and kindness. We also talked about taking on a challenge, a physical challenge. Whatever that might be. Well, today is Saturday, a day for fun and friends. Why don't combine the two then?

BICYCLES HAVE NO WALLS

The Big Bike Revival is an initiative aiming to help everyone and anyone to cycle with FREE activities and services delivered by organisations impacting the local community and its needs. Hey, I'm not talking about embracing "the lycra" and become a fully-fledged cyclist here. I'm talking about moving while meeting people doing something good for others. Department for Transport funds the programme. Local authorities support it across England. It is all about fun, social and inclusive activities and services that present cycling as a practical and normalised, everyday behaviour (talking building habits). Movement, fun and contribution. Sounds good, non? Remember, becoming your Best Self and learning self-acceptance requires commitment and self-discipline. Self-discipline as an act of self-love, e.g. choosing what is in your best interest every day. It is in your best interest to think about health, gain strength and endurance. And if you mix it with having fun and doing some good, you are onto a winner. We are building a healthy body, physically and mentally strong. And THAT is beautiful. Get your bike out, then. PS: If you don't live in England, I'm sure you can find some bike clubs or hire a cheap bike and get moving. Have fun, and I'll see you tomorrow x Change starts from within; that’s why training your consciousness should be your Priority Numero 1 – a daily practice to silence your inner critic.
