Self-care is a great part of Being Your Best Self - and if you like what you see in the mirror, you feel good about yourself, which increases your self-confidence. I don't know about you, but for me, this involves taking care of my hair. Right now, though, in what seems a perennial lockdown, it is a bit out of control.

That's right. I have been steaming it, applying hair masks and scalp treatments. I even bought some wash off colouring to try on ( hey, I can be brave, but I'm not stupid). But what I can't do is a good cut, except a fringe.

For a woman, her crown is particularly important. The Covid-19 pandemic has affected so many small businesses in the service industry, most of which are owned, managed by women like hairdressers. And this is even sadder for me ( read here my recent article on Gender Equality). I can't wait to go back and be pampered (by someone else). What about you? What are your feelings about hairdressers/your hair? Sending some good Saturday hair vibes our way - see you tomorrow x Change starts from within; that's why training your consciousness should be your Priority Numero 1 - a daily practice to silence your inner critic.
