"Our Father. In this clause, Jesus (The Bible) lays down once and for all that the relationship between God and man (and woman) is that of father and child. The majority of men and women are at their best in dealing with their children". God (the Universe, Infinite Spirit or Tom Cruise, if you prefer) is not a cruel tyrant who punishes us. It is our Father and part of us (all and any of us). Again, remember, this is not a religious blog. We are talking here about the metaphysical interpretation of it. The Bible as an instruction book for living.
