"...Prayer does change things. ... Many people say that ... it gives us courage and fortitude for meeting our troubles. ... Prayer changes (man's) nature fundamentally. ... The body, the environment, the universe itself, is plastic to our thoughts; and it always reflects our sincere belief".Before any nagging, reminded that this is not a religious blog and that we are addressing the Bible (well, Fox in the book does) as metaphysical teachings. We have talked before about how the presence of God (Source/Infinite Spirit/The Universe) is inside each and every one of us. And when we 'pray', we go within and connect to the Power we have inside. Here we are talking about addressing that Power and changing our thoughts. Fundamentally, we are what we think about most of the time, and everything in our life is a physical 'manifestation' of our thoughts. If you don't believe in spiritual/metaphysical teachings, just check out quantum physics and how matter gathers. Energy creates matter. Our thoughts gather energy which then creates matter. Prayer (thoughts) does indeed change things. See you tomorrow x
