"...the desire to 'get even' ... when we have been hurt or suffered an injustice .... will remain with us. Jesus says that you have to forgive ... no matter the provocation ... you are to let go for thus only can you be freed yourself ".

This is a quick reminder that this is not a religious blog. It is a way to interpret the Bible metaphysically and spiritually and can be applied universally. Here my take is that resentment, getting even with someone, only holds us there, with the pain and the resentment. Ultimately we are the ones who suffer. Letting go is the key to freedom and peace.
