ThePeopleAlchemist Edit: #SmashYourCeiling, change starts from within - Business & Lifestyle Experimentation for #TheWomanAlchemist - Countdown to Christmas Day 1
Hello again, and welcome the Be Your Best Christmas Self, a countdown to Christmas Day 1. As promised, welcome to my daily shorts advent calendar style. The wonders of Christmas never fail to delight me. I do like everything about it: the religious part, the family part, the spirit of it and even the commercial part. For me, it is a mix of embracing old traditions and discovering new ways to bring the magic alive. I know that right now, it seems all doom and gloom, but I am sure we can find something in the Spirit of Christmas to make each day and ourselves better every day. The Countdown to Christmas #BeYourBestChristmas self will have daily quotes to inspire/motivate, encourage, or just put you in a good mood. And then, a take care of yourself ( and others) quick tip. Ready? OK then:Food for thought, non? On that note, the self-care tip for today is to practise gratitude. Holiday times can be particularly stressful, more than ordinary times: buying presents, entertaining, and family. Remember to be grateful today for what you actually have and the people (family, friends, nice neighbours, co-workers) who are there for you. Perhaps instead of expensive gifts, you could write a nice, meaningful note to each of them to thank them, really thank them for what they are doing for you. Real examples. I'm sure they'll love it; everyone likes to be appreciated. See you tomorrow x The reality is you can/could carry the spirit of Christmas, of giving, of ….. all year round. #BeYourBestChristmasSelf #SelfShorts #Followme on Twitter and Instagram. My new book, The Nine Lives of Gabrielle, is available for pre-order now.“Christmas is built upon a beautiful and intentional paradox; that the birth of the homeless should be celebrated in every home.” - G.K.
