Your imagination IS everything: it is important to keep on focusing on what you want rather than the now or the short term and develop a First Class Vision (remember "You Are Bigger Than You Think. Fit Your Thinking To Your True Size. Think As Big As You Really Are", said David Schwartz PhD - Think Bigger, No Bigger - BIGGER!!! ?). There is a chapter in Act Like A Success Think Like A Success where it talks about creating a first-class vision: "It may not be your vision to fly privately, but why not create a vision to fly first class? ... what about having a first-class vision for your life?.... .... first class may not be important to you now, but one day it will be. Once you do enough first-class things, the second class doesn't even fit your image anymore. Once you taste first-class enough times, second class will never do. First-class conditions your mind". You achieve only what you see yourself achieving. Two years ago I started my journey into becoming a published author: I was focused, I was committed, I worked hard and I did publish my first book in 30 days or so ( read my diary day 1 - the beginning). What I didn't do was having a first-class vision for my life as an author - I only prepared for base camp (The Road To Success Is Like Climbing A Mountain: You Need To Acclimatise With Each Climb Before The Final Summit Bid - MotivationMonday). And I got to base camp relatively easily. But then I only did some additional climbs here and there and then back to base.
