Boosting your own productivity

ThePeopleAlchemist Edit: HR, Business and BOOSTING YOUR OWN productivity

Boosting your own productivity, is it even possible? Believe it or not, it is. Getting more done in the time we have and feeling happy about it is not as complicated as it may sound. It only requires a few but very practical steps:
  1. Sounds simple but ensure you are sleeping adequately. It is difficult to say what is right as each person is different. However, sleep or lack of it is closely linked to productivity (or lack of it). It also affects your mood.
  2. Be realistic and prioritise. Not everything has to be done right now. Start with what is critical and urgent. Then what is essential and schedule regular time for your own admin; block time in the calendar and stick to it.
  3. Do some personal outsourcing. What daily tasks are you carrying out regularly that could be done by someone else? This is not about being lazy or abdicating responsibility but about intelligent use of time. Remember, though, to check it has been done ( the task).
  4. Believe it or not, there is a productivity App on iTunes (Headspace - British app - promotes mindfulness)
Et voilà, boosting your own productivity done!
