How to achieve an Entrepreneur Blueprint for success? Like this

ThePeopleAlchemist Edit: Entrepreneur business and life

How do you achieve and maintain success as an Entrepreneur? Success is a subjective notion if there ever was one. To start with, let's agree to say that we are going beyond the fundamental human needs ( as identified by Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs ). For some people, success is connected to the money they earn. And for others is the title that follows their name - the status. Instead, for others is the freedom (financial freedom, time freedom, location freedom etc. etc.). Whatever is your definition of success, I believe these 10 books can provide a Blueprint to achieve it. And maintain it. They are: 1. Ask and it is Given - Esther & Jerry Hicks 2. Tapping into Wealth - Margaret M. Lynch 3. Act like a Success, Think Like a Success - Steve Harvey 4. Key Person of Influence - Daniel Priestly 5. The 4 Hour Work Week - Tim Ferriss 6. Jump - Steve Harvey 7. Tools of Titans - Tim Ferriss 8. Think and Grow Rich - Napoléon Hill 9. Money, Master the Game - Tony Robbins 10. Unshakable - Tony Robbins I shall cover each book in the order that would be most beneficial to form "The Blueprint".

Entrepreneur Blueprint for Success

Ask, and it is Given.

A book about The Law of Attraction (no, I haven't gone all woo-woo and lost my mind). Like the Law of Gravity, you don't need to understand it. Just know that it is there, and it works. Elaborating Quantum Physic concepts that everything is energy and like attracts like. Concepts are also found in every religion - 'A Man is what He Believes '. This is a book that the more you read and let go of resistance & absorb its teachings, the more you will benefit from. One for the bedside table to read and re-read throughout. This is the backbone of the Blueprint because success is 99% mindset.

Tapping into Wealth

The perfect companion for this journey. Using the Emotional Freedom Technique, EFT, helping to tackle limiting beliefs about money, wealth and goals deriving from family paradigms and releasing them by tapping. Using fingertips on a specific series of acupuncture points while tuning into negative experiences and expressing feelings about them as you tap on each point. This is not just about money. It is about bringing awareness of, understanding and then letting go of entrenched attitudes that stop us from being our best selves. Please do understand; this is not a book to just read: there are tapping scripts throughout and bonus videos at the end of each chapter, and you will only truly benefit if you abandon preconceptions and tap away. The approach I followed was first to read each chapter, then re-read and underline points that really resonated. Then follow the tapping scripts. I would go through each chapter for a few days in a row. Longer if the issue was really significant for me. There are chapters about deserving (love, affection, recognition, money), about being a perfectionist (and never happy), about being a good receiver. And about the potential negative perception of people with money. Some can be quite painful, so keep some tissues handy. I personally grouped chapters that I felt were closely linked and tapped for a week on them until all negative emotions were gone and then, and only then, moved to the next group. I can tell you I had a few aaaaha moments. And not just related to money... This book will help you raise your self-awareness and move on.

Act Like a Success, Think Like a Success

The base of the Blueprint, the road map to identifying what your gift is. Acknowledging it. Perfecting it. Connecting it to a vehicle. And riding it to success. One concept that I found particularly useful was “ Taking The Lid Off The Jar ”Chapter 3. Inspiring information on why it is important to avoid being boxed in by external circumstances, race, gender, economic background, age. And Success is like Pulling a Wagon, looking at people in your life who not only don't add value but are just there enjoying the ride without contributing. I bet you have a few...

Key person of Influence

Once you have found your gift and your vehicle ( for now and the future), then you can discover how you can become a Key Person of Influence in your field by following a strategy that fast-track your way to the inner circle of your chosen industry/field, enhancing your ability to influence (at this point tapping to release your Vow to be Invisible and shine fully comes really handy- Chapter 14, Tapping Into Wealth).

The 4-Hour Work Week

Then, it is time to embrace The 4-Hour Work Week: I must say the first time I read it, I wasn't quite ready for the concepts, and I did a disservice in my review. However, this book is instrumental independently of your current status (please pardon Tim's Americanisms -he can't help it ;-) ). The book's objective is to help to create freedom of time and place ( and use them however you like) whilst enjoying your life Right Now - and not waiting for retirement - the concept of the New Rich. Tim takes the ideas of working on your strengths, breaking/adapting the rules, conquering fear together with simplifying your life via elimination to an all-new different level ( you need to be ruthless, and it can be painful, but it is surprisingly simple). And then there is automation...... and you will be amazed how much this can help you to focus on the right things and "delegate" the others.

Jump

That's when we get to Jump: because after mastering Act Like A Success, Key Person of Influence and The 4 Hour Work Week if you don't take action and Jump, then they are just books. They will only help you minimally.

Tools of Titans

Success leaves clues and Tools of Titans is a collection of interviews gathered in about two years with nearly two hundred world-class performers from Tim Ferriss's podcast: celebrities, athletes, military commanders and so on; the book contains practical, actionable and repeatable tools, tactics & routines. You will find out what these people do in the first sixty minutes of each morning, what their workout routines look like, and why; what are the biggest wastes of time for people starting in their field and what supplements they take daily, to name just a few. Once the mindset and the framework have been firmly put in place and you have started to Jump, then we can move on to Think and Grow Rich, the book that started it all - a systematic nuts-and-bolts approach to developing the skills and mindset required to achieve exceptional (financial) success in any field in 13 detailed steps required to achieve those goals.

Money: Master the Game

Financially modelling in practice, walking through the steps to become financially free by creating a lifetime income plan with information and essential practices for getting your financial house in order. Building upon these principles, Unshakeable offers specific steps that can be implemented to protect investments while maximising wealth. This is the next step designed for investors in a common-sense and, again, practical manner. These 10 books, especially if worked through in this order, can provide the Entrepreneur Blueprint for Success - of course, only if you do the exercises in the books and take action. My bonus book, as promised, is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, the inspiration beyond the name of my Company ( The People Alchemist); this is a journey in the human yearning for something bigger than ourselves, for fortune and treasures that we always seek in faraway places when we can actually find them firstly and foremostly in ourselves. As you turn every page, you'll find a little magic dust sprinkled all over it; you will feel inspired to listen to your heart, read the omens that you encounter along life's path and, above all, follow your dreams.
