ThePeopleAlchemist Edit: books can be your best friends, keeping you company and helping you to dream, and your pocket mentors - every page a mini-lesson waiting to be absorbed - #amreading March
Hello again, my lovely readers and reading community and Women History Month.
This month though, I'd love to share with you my love of both non-fiction/business type books and groundbreaking pivotal fiction in the history of women. Life is a never-ending journey, with experiments and lessons at every corner and a book to match them - ready?
MY 4 BOOKS ON THE GO THIS MONTH
The average CEO reads 52 books per year - that's one book every week. My four books on the go this month - #amreading March - are:
- The Million Dollar One-person Business by Elaine Pofeldt
- Building a Story Brand by Donald Miller
- On Writing by Stephen King
- The Second Sex by Simone de Beauvoir
Following on from PLATFORM, another gem - Building a Story Brand - shows how to use the seven universal elements of powerful stories to improve how you connect with your customers and grow your business. Perfect for creatives, solopreneurs and small business owners. On Writing is Stephen King's critically lauded, super best seller, part memoir, part on writing masterclass, for any aspiring (or any) writers. It is a practical view of the writer's craft and the essential tools needed. Enjoy. I LOVE IT!
Finally, The Second Sex, the groundbreaking work of Simone de Beauvoir, is ever so appropriate, especially on Women's History Month. The "One is not born but rather becomes a woman" phrase switched on light bulbs in the heads of a generation of women. It began a fight for greater equality and economic independence—a Masterpiece. What about you? What are your books on the go this month?
PS: My new book, 90 Days To Reboot Your Career, is now OUT! You can buy it from Amazon, all major booksellers .
