ThePeopleAlchemist Edit: business and life experimentation, or like James Murphy said ' the best way to the complaint is to make things'

After a long Bank Holiday Weekend AKA 'holiday' and having some fun, I have now reached week 11 of Art & Soul Reloaded - the 'make things' stage. Previously I would have felt guilty (for not writing) but after the 30-day affirmations from Write For Your Life - The Home Seminar For Writers I know that 'everything I do for enjoyment furthers my writing career so I REALLY enjoyed the time off and I know it will come handy one day soon. Anyway back to the subject. This week is all about smashing the pretentiousness often associated with 'Art' and instead of getting on with 'Making Stuff', reconnecting with the old days when everybody used to make things. In a digitalized world people are less and less connected with creating things with their hands. Except for children and artisans of course. This week exercise is unpretentious and natural. And links up to our inner child, getting our hands dirty so to speak. The task:
  • transform something from a charity shop, in true Blue Peter style.
Does that sound fun, or what? I think I'm going to browse a few of the local shops and find a little project and 'make things'. Transform, recycle something old to make something new. What about you? What are you going to do? #youcreateyourownreality #lifestyledesign #lifestyleedit #followme #like #share Business & Lifestyle Experimentation Blog for #TheWomanAlchemist #SmashYourCeiling #lifeexperiment
