How to publish a book in 30 days - Diary Day 3

Laura Mariani

A public diary on how I am beating procrastination and finally writing (and publishing) a book - Day 3

It is Day 3 of How to publish a book in 30 days diary. There is nothing better for beating procrastination than public accountability. So since starting writing this diary, I make sure I record some real progress for the book every day, writing and editing when instead it would be so easy just to let life get in the way. I have to tell you it is an excellent keep-on-track tool ( so please comment below and let me know what you think). I made a journo request on Twitter a few weeks ago for women in business/entrepreneurs to share their stories with the world (well, with me first and with you after ;-)), and I had a marvellous response. I have already published 3 of these interviews (click to read the interview with Natasha, Rachel, and Jackie). I will be posting another four here on my blog up to the book release (22 September - keep the date), but most of all, these interviews make great material for the book. So today, I was writing introductions for them and including them in the book and, of course, making sure everyone is more than happy to appear in the book. Feeling very happy today as I can see the book growing and starting to look the part :-) My thought for today What is stopping you from achieving your dreams? STOP IT; it is all in your head!!! Follow me and comment/feedback/like/share; your help is very much appreciated :-) #HoldMeAccountable #Hustle #GirlBoss #SmashThatCeiling Ciao, a Domani x
