Write for Your Life Day 27- My Honest Self-Expression Helps Everyone. It is safe to let people know who you are; the world is ready for you and your writing. By following your bliss (writing hopefully;-p), you'll feel more alive, which will come through in your writing. And it will enrich everyone who reads. No one is hurt by what you write; au contraire your work can inspire others. This is something I'm learning a bit more every day. I have always been a very private person and learning that honest self-expression helps myself and others ( and my writing too) is a valuable lesson. Again, thank you, Lawrence. Write for Your Life Day 27 here with another valuable lesson. Self-expression and honesty are critical to good writing. And, to be fair, they both are very valuable and useful in life too. Somebody somewhere will not like you. For sure. And you know what? Who cares. There are billions of people on this planet; you can't really expect they'll all like you, can you? You have a voice. Use it. Sing the melody you like the most, your song, your tune, your rhythm. Even though you might not be in tune at the beginning. I am of course speaking metaphorically here - this is applicable to any skill/passion. With practice, you'll improve. The more you do, the more people will be inspired and touched. And then, you'll start enjoying expressing yourself more. And more honestly. Believe it or not, more and more. OK then Write for Your Life Day 27 over now.
