Day 4 of 7 Day challenge, the halfway point. By now, you might face some resistance, both external and internal. Externally, people around you might have noticed something different about you and perhaps think you are weird or worse. Let's face it; if you are not entertaining their winging and moaning at you, they are probably annoyed at whatever is happening with you. Not your problem. In more ways than one. Regarding your own resistance, like computers have programs, you have thoughts that run you. Most of the time, they've got nothing to do with you but the results of societal, religious and family paradigms. But those programs have been running your whole life, and so, it is likely they are still bubbling up. That's why we started with dumping all the crap on a page on Day 1 and then started with a media fast on Day 2 (to stop additional crap going in) and then yesterday making a list of your habitual negative thoughts and looked at the 90 seconds rule as a tool to help. Think again of the computer analogy; if you haven't rebooted it for a while when you do, it is going to take some time ... STOP before the negativity gets fully hold of you. Remember, a negative thought is any thought that is not positive or constructive in character, whether about/toward yourself or others.

PAUSE

So, if you can't avoid people this week and they are being negative, pause (internally - might look a bit weird if you are starting with OMMMMM in the middle of the office or a zoom call) and don't allow them to affect you. Don't believe them and let them change your mood. If necessary take a few minutes by yourself to get back in balance. BREATHE. Pause. Exhale. And continue with the challenge ... Day 4 of 7 Day challenge talk done, now it is over to you for some practice. See you tomorrow x
