Hello again, today I want to talk about love and relationship and daily commitment.

DAILY COMMITMENT IS THE KEY

Yep, that's right. I'm not going all mushy here, but love is a fundamental part of the human experience. Human beings need connection. And nature requires the perpetuation of the species. Put the two together, and you have a pretty powerful combination. Let's face it; most people spend their life trying to find a great relationship with someone. THE ONE. And in the beginning, the buzz, excitement, and oxytocin feeling are sexy. Getting to know someone and exploring each other is exciting. But is that love? Look at any other relationship, like friendships, parenthood, or family. Not everything always smells of roses and/or is super exciting. To start with, it is daily work, gestures, and showing your love and appreciation. And romantic relationships are no different. Because LOVE can be unsexy too. Firstly, sometimes is making a compromise. Secondly, sometimes is sacrificing something for the greater good of the couple. Finally, sometimes is getting used to doing things differently from what you are used to and perhaps like. I'm sure you can come up with other things that make a relationship work, can't you? Passion isn't everything. Somebody needs to take out the bins or cook. Or walk the dog. Even clean the bathroom. The ultimate bottom line is: love is a daily commitment. Hi there, I hope you enjoyed this post. Please do provide me with feedback.

I want to hear ‘the good, the bad and the ugly’. If you disagree with me or want to provide a different perspective, leave a comment. Tell me what’s on your mind.

Do remember though to be respectful and kind – we can agree to disagree, no need to be nasty. Thank you.
