Hello everyone! As you know, October is known for Breast Cancer Awareness month. And each of us knows of someone who may have had had breast cancer and survived, or sadly passed away from it. Breast cancer is a personal struggle, and my heart goes out to each, and every person afflicted by this ravaging disease. Today is ‘Wear Pink Day’, the colour is associated with raising awareness for breast cancer. It is a reminder and acknowledgement of support to show that we care about those affected. This initiative raises much-needed funding that supports life-saving research, which in turn can literally change a person’s life. And the truth is that cancer doesn’t discriminate. It doesn’t care about the colour of your skin or how rich you are, and Breast cancer is no exception. This year alone, around 55,000 women in the UK will hear the words 'it's breast cancer.' And approximately 11,500 women die from it. So, you can help to create a future where all that changes and with the proper support. And it's possible that by 2050, everyone diagnosed with breast cancer lives – and is supported to live well. As such, by being your best self, supporting causes that are bigger than you helps build character. So every bit of pink we wear counts. And if there ever was a time to put on that pink top, drape that pink feather boa around your neck, it's tomorrow.

How to show support

Support, in every way, is beneficial. And it begins with something as small as looking into your wardrobe and making a choice to wear the representative colour, pink. The beauty about support is that something as small as this can grow into charitable donations, community awareness, leading to that hope we have for 2050. So, please take a moment to donate to this great cause, you can donate by visiting this site here. I will be wearing something pink, something pretty, and something powerful. And my support for breast cancer awareness continues. My hope is for a better 2050 for all. Until next time x
