FEED YOUR MIND DAY 206 - READING EXTRACT

" .. . When you set out to solve a problem by means of prayer, you should take all the ordinary steps in addition. Do not simply pray and sit down and wait for something dramatic to happen. ...

'Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might ...' (Ecclesiastes 9:10)".

Before you say anything, no, this is not a contradiction from previous lessons. When we are talking about manifestation or demonstration, people often assume is something miraculous falling from the sky, and they can sit down doing nothing. Well, first of all, whilst you are waiting for your thoughts to materialise, if you do nothing, someone will come and take away your furniture. You need to continue with your day-to-day life. Secondly, manifestation comes in many ways. Sometimes, yes, you 'find' what you want, or it comes to you. But some other times, it comes by a message flashing across the television screen that makes you think of the solution to your problem. Or you meet someone new that can help you. The point is, manifestation happens in the most natural way possible to YOU. Taking steps in the right direction. And you know those 'right' steps because you have the 'right' mindset.
