Focus on what you can control

Trying To Control Everything Is A Waste Of Time. As Tony Robbins Says: "Change Is Inevitable. Progress Is Optional". Focus On You.

The last year has been indeed a year of "forced" change. One lockdown after the other, we lost all appearance of normality. These times I found that trying to control everything is a total waste of time. This is true both in life and in business. I had to get honest about the things that I do have power over and what I don't:
  • What I have authority over in my business is the quality of my offering and serving my clients to the best of my abilities.
    • For the rest, I need to adapt to the times and my clients' needs.
  • What I can command over in my life is what I do and who/how I interact with people - how I present myself to the world and what I bring to the table.

"Change is inevitable. Progress is optional"

Tony Robbins

Thinking I can control everything thing else is a fallacy. Instead, I choose to focus on my actions and live in the moment - because time is precious, and we can never get it back. And worrying about what things might or might not happen only bring unnecessary anxiety and worry. What about you? What are you focusing on?
